Breakdown Assist (“we”, “us”) coordinates pay‑on‑use roadside assistance and recovery for commercial vehicles across the UK & Europe via our 24/7 control room and vetted partner network.

  • Identity & contact: name, phone, email, company, role.
  • Job details: vehicle/reg, location, fault description, access/load info, photos (if provided).
  • Operational data: timestamps, ETA/status updates, engineer notes.
  • Billing: invoicing info, payment status (no full card data stored by us).
  • Website/tech: IP, device, browser, cookies, pages viewed (see Cookies).
  • Call recordings: for training and monitoring (where applicable).

3. How we use data

  • Receive and manage breakdown requests; dispatch suitable engineers/recovery.
  • Provide live updates, documentation and post‑job reports.
  • Manage billing, payments and credit control.
  • Improve services, quality and training (including call review).
  • Comply with legal/regulatory obligations and prevent fraud or misuse.

  • Contract – to take steps at your request and perform services.
